Have you ever opened a medical report, scanned all the numbers, ranges and charts… and immediately thought,
“So… what does any of this actually mean?”
Most people have.
And honestly? We don’t blame you.
Those reports are written for doctors who already speak the language. They hold essential clinical details, but they’re not exactly designed to comfort a nervous mind. When you’re doing a test because you’re worried about your heart, the last thing you need is another reason to feel overwhelmed.
And no, you shouldn’t have to spend your evening Googling abbreviations that sound like a new alphabet someone invented out of spite.
Holter monitoring report designed with you in mind
We understand how unsettling uncertainty can be, especially when it comes to something as personal (and important) as your heart. That’s why, although our reports are NHS and CQC accredited and contain all the clinical information your doctor needs, they also include a clear, patient-friendly summary written in plain English. A summary that explains not just the data, but what it means for you, and what to do next if anything needs attention.
But still…
How on earth do you make a page of ECG squiggles feel understandable?
Here are some examples of what our report will actually tell you.
We’ll use the F1 analogy here, because comparing your heart to a high-performance machine makes the physiology easier to picture without drowning you in medical jargon. And beneath that metaphor sits precise, specialist interpretation from experts who take cardiac health seriously.
Information on your heart rate
Think of your heart rate as the speed of an F1 car relative to the section of track it’s on. When you’re relaxing, your engine should be cruising. When you’re climbing stairs or walking quickly, it should pick up the pace smoothly.
Essentially, we check if your heart is choosing the right gear for what you’re doing. What we don’t want is full throttle on a slow corner or crawling through the straight.
We’re checking your heart rate, because that’s often the first clue behind symptoms like fatigue or shortness of breath.
Information on your Heart Rate Variability (HRV)
HRV is your heart’s suspension setup. A well-tuned car can absorb bumps, switch direction instantly and adapt to changing conditions without shaking itself apart. This part of the report helps you understand how resilient your heart is beneath the surface — how well it manages stress, how effectively it resets between “laps,” and whether there are signs it’s working harder than it needs to.
Information on abnormal beats
These are the engine misfires. A high-performance engine might cough once in a while, but repeated misfires or longer stutters tell the engineers something needs checking. The report shows how often these irregular beats (misfires) happen, how long they last and what type they are. This part of the report will tell you whether it’s a harmless blip or something your doctor might want to explore further.
We designed our reporting to provide you with expert insight wrapped in something you can actually understand.
If you’d like to find out more about us, how our service works, what the testing process looks like or how quickly you can get started, you will find it all right here, on our website. All in the same straightforward style, no jargon, no overwhelm, just the information you need to feel confident about your heart.
Stay heart-happy.
